It's a painter and a artist in stained glass. He's born on the 1882, to Troyes, he stay on Troyes except from 1901 to 1905 : he's learning to Paris fine arts school and from 1914 to 1918 in Morocco, during the war.
It's a fauves artist but he used more light colours than other artists. He's painted more interior scenes represent especially familly's women and friends like "Brodeuse à la fenêtre", " Scène d'intérieur"...
Towards 1912, he's working glass-making but he painted from time to time; his paintings are darked, like the full portrait : "Marcelle" or "Florence". At beginning his glasses was rather fine and glazed then he 's prefer thick like real sculptures . Some techniques are now in a secret place.One can to classify his work of art in five sorts :glazed fine glasses, nude and strong pieces, engraved glasses, coloured glasses et bubble glasses. He's stopped glass-making in 1937 because the factory of Bar/Seine where he worked was destroy.
Towards 1955, he begin to do painted again on the theme : the sun; the sun like this of "Paysage à Bréviandes" who lives her friend Pierre Lévy (one can to admire the donation at Art Modern Museum of Troyes.
